I thought I’d give that solitary weekend a try. I deserve a little time for myself, right? Well since I am on a budget. I thought I’d get the closest cheapest and possibly the best beach I can afford within my budget. Google is the best place to go hunting and finally found this site http://www.muntingbuhangin.ph/
Going to Munting Buhangin
From Cubao, ride the MRT to Taft station. Just below the station on the left side is a bus terminal. Ride the one going to Nasugbu, Batangas and ask the driver to let you off at Nasugbu. From there ride a Tricycle going to Munting Buhangin. Easy breezy.
Well, don’t expect a Bora type feel since this is not Boracay. It is a serene and relaxing place if you want to spend time away from the Metro and close to the beach. It’s 3-4 hour ride from the city that satisfies your craving for sun, sea and sand. If you are in a budget like me, just rent out a tent. It is cheaper and as an excuse it gives you the “campsite feel”.
Budget
From Pasay to Nasugbu v.v Bus fare: P310 (roundtrip)
Tricycle to Munting Buhangin v.v Tryke: P500 minimum (roundtrip)
Entrance Resort: P200
Tent Rent: P500 (off peak season)
Food Bring your own. Rice meals? P150 above
A cheap weekend getaway? Definitely. I loved it and I know you will too. Enjoy!
It’s been awhile since I posted here. So here, I have been shooting at Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife for a month now. And it has been raining like crazy. Everytime I shoot rain pours. I don’t know if it is just me. But I always think that rain equals for a day to be thankful.
This is my latest shoot from that place. These 3 girls are cousins. I don’t know if you see the resemblance. Great looking bunch, great smiles and energy on the day of the shoot means its a good day. Hope you enjoy the photos.
